Her most recent major solo exhibition In The Raw Light at Waywood Gallery Byron Bay Australia 2004 was a huge success with a great response and over 300 people attending the opening night. It lead to representation by Agora Gallery New York Chelsea and entrance into the Digital Fine Art Show PIXEL PERFECT May-June 2005. Michelle travelled to New York for the opening. Since the artist returned from New York she has secured three exhibitions with OMMA Contemporary Art Centre within their two galleries in Santa Barbara California and Chania Greece in 2006. Description of Art: At various times in our century there has been a mutual exchange between Art, Science and Philosophy. This is one of those times. By using an eclectic use of traditional mixed mediums and the latest technology computer generated images, digitally enhanced photographs and retouched images on giclee canvas, Michelle merges all these into a powerful visual statement. Integral to the images is the artists personal journey used as a vehicle for this body of work. Her work is about the cyclical nature of light and dark energies. To Remember! To Forgive! To Trust! To Accept! Is integral to this holistic journey. It talks about vulnerability as life itself as it seeks to know all its aspects.
