| Biography: i am a newspaper editor who also does a lot of news pictures, and local weddings along with some fine art work in black and white and color nature and landscape work. i like people pictures and covering musicians in the traditional bluegrass music, which i am staff photographer for the stringbean music festivals that are located in my paper's (The Jackson County Sun) coverage area. i also have been taking pictures over several years of pre-dawn and fog scenes that occur here of the rural and farm landscapes. my career began after graduating college in creative writing, then working as a photographer and reporter at a daily newspaper before going on to work in radio breifly until starting as a managing editor at a weekly paper in eastern Kentucky, where i have been working for the past 15 years.
