Mina Roldan Cabral

Biography: I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and I currently live in New York with my family. My early childhood years were generally spent taking pictures with a Polaroid camera that was given to me by my parents at the age of seven. It was a gift which I cherished for many years to come. Later on, I studied painting, sculpture, printmaking, and illustration at the Escuela Central de Artes Visuales (Central High School of Visual Arts) located in Santurce, Puerto Rico. At the age of eighteen, I moved to New York to earned a bachelor's degree in Media Arts (Photography/Filmmaking & Television Production.) from Pratt Institute. Currently I study Photography at the School of Visual Arts.
