Peter Bourke
 | Biography: I live in southeast Queensland Australia many of my works draw inspiration from the beautiful Australian fauna and flora as well as my friends. Most of my time these days is spent on commission works the majority of these are sculpted portraiture in steel. I have had exhibitions at the Bundaberg Art Gallery, the Oxenford Gallery on the Gold Coast and Art n such of Bundaberg, however with living in the bush traveling to the city is the very last thing I want to do so the web suits me well.

The work Jim Is of an old friend of mine, it is hand forged and then carved with cold chisels from solid steel and then heated to 800 degrees centigrade before plunging into hot waxes and oils to protect it.
