Patricia Wagner
 | Biography: Creating artwork has been a part of Patricia Wagner's life since childhood. Two great-uncles were successful painters. One of them, Carl Bohnen, was commissioned to paint portraits of seven governors of the state of Minnesota. These portraits are on display in the state capital in St. Paul, Minnesota. Another great-uncle, Al Bohnen, was a four-year scholarship student of Robert Henri, who was one of the greatest art teachers in the early part of the twentieth century. Patricia's Uncle Al was her first drawing teacher.
Patricia Wagner graduated from California State University at Long beach with a major in Drawing and Painting. Studies at Art Center college of Design in Pasadena and California Art Institute in Calabasas were very beneficial as well. Important artistic influences are Winslow Homer, John Singer Sargent, the American Impressionists and Maxfield Parish.
Patricia loves to paint scenes depicting the majestic landscapes of Sedona, Arizona. It's an artist's inspiration with rugged red rocks reaching up to touch luminous clouds above. She seeks to communicate the beauty of God's creation in her acrylic landscape paintings.
