Doug MacBean

Biography: Doug MacBean now lives in the beautiful city of Hamilton. A graduate, from the Ontario College of Art in 1991, his works are held in many collections, both private and institutional. Doug has collected several awards over the years, been president of the Don Valley Art Club, and taught painting and drawing at Sheridan College and the Scarborough Board of Education. Although he does not wish to limit himself to a particular genre, he prefers to paint in oils, now his favourite medium, in a traditional style that seems to maintain its popularity.
