Debra Lynn Jones
 | Biography: Debra Lynn Jones was born and raised on the East Coast of the U.S. She spent most of her early
life pursuing her interests in the healthcare field, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences
from Rutgers University, a Masters degree in Health Services Administration from the New School
for Social Research, and a Ph.D. in Health Services from Walden University.
A few years ago, Debra branched out from an established and successful career in health services
research to explore the world of artistic expression. Primarily self-taught, she has established
herself as a photographer, illustrator, and fine artist, showing her work in various venues in the
Berkshire art community of Western Massachusetts and now in the San Francisco Bay area.
In 2001, she co-founded ImageSong, a small graphic arts company with the Veterans Health
Administration and the Habitat for Humanity among its client base. Debra currently lives and
works in Northern California.
Paintings and illustrations are created using Painter IX, Photoshop CS, and Illustrator CS software
on a Mac G5 computer with a Wacom tablet and stylus. For more information about Debra's
