Christine Belanger

Biography: In 2002, Christine was commissioned by Skate Canada to create the portraits of the 2003 SCHOF Inductees,Tracy Wilson and Robert McCall, Michael Jiranek and Barbara Graham. The portraits now hang in the Skate Canada Hall of Fame Museum. Over the years, Christine has received many awards and honors for her work and has been featured in many print and online publications. Christine is currently a member of Pastel Artists of Canada and the Canadian Institute of Portrait Artists. Description of Art: The portraits are created on Canson MiTientes paper using Rembrandt soft pastels. Pastel pencils and quality colored pencils are applied for finer details on most portraits.
