Wai-King Wong Biography: Wai-King Wong is born on 1965 in Hong Kong. She immigrated to the United States at the age of seven years old and settled in Sacramento until she moved to Los Angeles for her studies in fine art & design. Upon finishing her degree in school, she became inspired by the cultural arts in Europe and decided to continue her studies in Paris, France. After having taken a few courses in French prior to her trip to France, which would better her communications with the French people, she ventured to a country rich in the arts. There, she furthered the study of the French language by taking courses at the Universite de Sorbonne. With some knowledge of the French language, soon she started to learn the classical techniques of etching at the Atelier 63 with Joelle Serve, the founder and director of the atelier. Later, Wong continued to create more works of art in prints and drawings at the La Taille Douce, Atelier Nicolas Poussin, Atelier Contrepoint, and L'Ecole Superieure des Arts Applique Duperre.
