Sherri Wyche |
| Biography: Since I was very young, I have drawn and painted animal life. I started out with just pencil on paper drawings. As I got older I used acrylic. In college, I discovered oils which became my favorite medium. Currently, I use Photoshop for most of my art. The challenge I give myself in wildlife and animal art is to make the animal seem like it is not in its normal place. For instance, the leopard drinking from a swimming pool. It is doing a natural act, yet in general one would not think of the wild animal in human surroundings or even drinking from a swimming pool of all things. Fluid brush marks are very typical of my creations which are mostly based upon realism.
