 | Biography: I was born in San Juan, P.R. on October 3, 1966. I have four sisters, Regan's the eldest, Yael's the youngest, and Robin's my identical twin sister. She's 3 minutes younger than me. My mom is Haitian-Austrian, and has embraced P.R. and her retail business as her home. My dad is English, and embraced the U.S. and the ocean as his.

You say what I see. Whether it's overtly, passionately, loudly or oh so ever softly, cautiously, subtly.
You who embrace the power, while I struggle and strive towards elasticity and

To be an artist, means to me ... to do what comes naturally. And then to take a step back, and say ... "oh my god!" For me to become a good artist, one needs to do, and then stop, reflect, think a bit, maybe even learn a thing or two and then continue. My art is all an extension of my soul. And after years of working without any thought of a soul, let alone mine, I've learned to appreciate and embrace what I've done and what I'm doing.
2002 "You don't know what you're doing, do you?" Michael asked increduously. I looked at him and didn't say anything. What was I going to say? Later, I came up with my rather appropriate response, "isn't that painfully obvious?"
No, I often don't know what I'm doing. I'm no longer ok with that.
"Baby steps," my mother said. I agree with her today.
"Baby steps," my sister said. I agree with her too.
"Baby steps," my other sister said.
Yes, Yes. I see their point. Not that I full heartedly agree. You see, I still want to experience life by leaps and bounds. But I agree.
