 | Biography: Award-winning artist Oscar Penalber was born in Mendoza, Argentina. Since 1979 he resides in Miami. His favorite media is acrylic on canvas. Portraits and landscapes with rich colors are his favorite subjects. He is a self-taught artist who also is a skilled photographer. The mastery of light came handy when he decided to start painting, which is the media he devotes all his time to. His work can be seen in galleries, art festivals, stores and institutions around Miami, such as the Deering Estate, Miami Dade County College, Vincent Gallery, Sentir Cubano and many others.
