Mary Frances Millet Biography: Watercolorist Mary Frances Millet, a descendant of Jean Francois Millet, has been painting equine images for 20 years. Her equine images rise from living in the capital of thoroughbred horseracing fame, Saratoga Springs. Being surrounded by horse farms and the image of the horse in everything from newspapers to television has naturally imprinted the structure and spirit of the horse on Millet's imagination. She has taken this daily dose of images and created her own unique style of vibrant color, unusual textures and striking poses. The collection is under the name "Heart O The Horse" at her studio, The Artful Life. To view Millet's work, her temporary website "The Artful Life Studio" is on AOL Hometown, and its sister site which focuses on her business of creating watercolors of weddings at watercolorweddings.com.
