Madonna Paradis Biography: Creativity flows through each life and has no boundaries, left to its own force it will not rest; it will proceed to destinations unknown and uncharted, taking with it all who are free and brave enough to weather the course. My biography runs fairly close to my idea of the above statement.Born in Chicago's Cook County, in Illinois and due to cercomstances Raised in orphanages from infant to young adult I have not experienced many boundaries that have not been unreachable if the desire to investigate it was the challenge for me. I have done many things in my time and space always with creativity in the mix. I originally wanted to write and spent many hours and lessons attempting to tell my stories and later the opportunity arose to charter another course in that field so I began to write poetry, then calligraphy, then finely pen and ink drawings and from there all the forms of putting stories into pictures. I feel that art is a more visual story and I hope you will enjoy this picture which I offer to you. "Flower Girl" is a 16 x 20 oil painting on canvas and was painted in 2003. I met a girl one day and after talking to her for an hour or so I departed and proceeded to where ever I was headed, but the girl kept coming back to mind and all I could see in my minds eye was flowers and more flowers. So this is the theme of this painting.
