Nadezhda has graduated Fedoskino miniature painting school. While her first works were of classic style, she has now almost devised her own style, which gently combines elements from both symbolism and art-nouveau. Inspired by old Russian legends, folk stories, and religious beliefs, Nadezhda's works are dreamlike images of angelic women that evoke emotion and even spiritual feelings in the viewer. She paints in a most subtle manner and is especially known for her soft, flawless faces, delicate postures, and masterful translucent technique that captures the essence of the feminine beauty. You can feel the vitality emanating from Nadezhda's works - a keenly depicted move, an expression that's just right. Her feel for proportions is most amazing. Often commissioned for State orders, here art connoisseurs from Russia, United States and other parts of the world. Since 1995 Nadezhda's art work has been licensed in the United States, and has become very popular.
