Michael Burton has always loved to draw since the age of 4. That is when he realized his potential as an artist. His first art courses were taken at Olive-Harvey Jr. College. After deciding to make a career as an artist, he soon attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago. After taking intense courses in figure drawing, design, and Illustration; Michael began to develop excellent rendering, drawing, and anatomy skills. He also gained experience in all traditional mediums; Pencil, pen and ink, acrylic, water-color, gouache, charcoal and pastel. Also, while studying illustration; he took computer courses to bridge the gap as a designer. Thanks to computers, he also developed a simple but tasteful style for digital color and graphics with his drawings. Overall his art has realistic, simple and tasteful styles that attracts many viewers to his work.
