Born in June 22, 1946 in Balta, Duvac Constantin was even as a child enthusiastic about painting and painted his first icons at a very early age.
His passion for painting was accompanied by an equal interest in mathematics, which motivated him to later attend the courses of the Faculty of Mathematics in Cluj, graduating it with excellent results.
All throughout this period he was the apprentice of great Romanian Byzantine painters such as Iosif Keber and Grigore Popescu, working by their side at several Romanian orthodox churches.
After being granted an accreditation by the Romanian Orthodox Church, Constantin Duvac painted more than a dozen churches throughout Romania.
