I am mainly self taught, although I have attended many courses and workshops at colleges including the Glasgow School of Art.
I love painting and drawing and this is how I spend my time relaxing.
I am especially inspired by artists such as Jenny Saville, Lucien Freud, David Donaldson and especially Edgar Degas.
I have won awards such as artist of the month with paintingsandprints.co.uk and have also been chosen for artist of the month on digital consciousness.com of which I an very proud.
I am currently midway studying my degree in Primary Education, which is the best decision i've ever made. The best part is being able to encourage and help children to expand their talents, confidence and imagination.
I have also been learning Scottish Gaelic for over a year.
My paintings are original and refreshing. I paint a wide range of subjects including figure and life, landscapes and animals, but I am available to paint whatever the customer wants... and how they want it painted.
The art on my site is only a small selection of what I have, all of which are available to buy and I am available for commissions.
