Sven Weidner was born and raised in Germany. He studied design in Düsseldorf, where he earned his B.A. in Visual Communications. His working experiences led him to Tel Aviv and New York where he mainly focused in CG Computer Graphics and 3D Character Animation. However, his love for photography, which developed early in his childhood, was a constant companion during the years and an essential part of his life.
Through color, composition and framing he reevaluates reality by emphasizing maybe obvious, but esthetic qualities, often overlooked in our modern life. In his work, he utilizes a unique process in which he furthermore alters his original photography before applying it on canvas. The blurry quality characterizes our distracted perception of reality. |
