Sandra Jeknavorian is a fine artist who works in the medium of acrylics on paper. Her most recent work is an installation of a continuous painting to be on view on all 4 walls of Artworks Gallery in New Bedford, Massachusetts in the Fall of 2003. The theme of the paintings is "I am a Child," (titled after the Neil Young song of the same name.) Sandra is employing a stream of consciousness use of chilhood and childlike memories for the painting(s).
Sandra is currently in a year long fellowship as an artist in residence at Artworks in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
Sandra has a Masters degree in painting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She earned her Bachelors Degree in painting at Hartford Art School, West Hartford, Connecticut.
