Robert Schneider paints landscape in the tradition of the Hudson River School. He Travels to and paints the sites made famous by 19th century American painters like Thomas cole and Fredrick Church. Schneider studied drawing and painting at The Art Students League of New York. His work has been exhibited at The National Arts Club in New York as well as the Salmagundi Club and The Art Students League. Schneiders work is included in many publiic and private collections including The Readers Digest Collection, The IBM Collection and The Pfizer Collection. His is represented by several galleries in the U.S. Schneider teaches regular classes in his studio in Cooperstown, New York, as well as annual summer work shops.
