Manaswini sharma is a budding artist of Jaipur Kathak Gharana. Born on 23rd February,1998 ,
she began her training from a very young age by the principal heir of Jaipur Gharana of
Kathak- Pt. Girdhari Maharaj, under Guru Shishya Parampara as his disciple.
Currently pursuing for her post diploma in the field of Kathak from Bhatkhande sangeet
vidhyapeeth, Lucknow. she has performed Kathak on various platforms which includes
Ranakpur Dance Festival, Thirak Utsav, Kathak Samaroh by Jaipur Kathak Kendra, shri Gokul
chand rao smriti samaroh, udai shankar ballet,etc. and has performed 'Ghoomar' at National
Folk Dance Festival " Lokrang".
She has also won various accolades in the field of Kathak and was selected by the Minstry Of
Human Resource Development for a cultural exchange programme that was held in Japan. |
