Born1941 in Leipzig, Germany. 1961Emigrates to California to study with the German Exprressionist
Schwaderer. Sudies pictorial arts at UCLA.78 Meets Dr. Hisashi Ohta, a Living National Treasure of
Japan, and studies Sumi-e (Japanese ink-painting). After three years Ohta gives all his Japanese
students to Zaremba. Zaremba becomes Sensei at Japanese Cultural Center, Los Angeles. The widow
of his master studies with him for fifteen years. Since 1999 lives near Boston, MA, where he paints
and teaches. |
