| David C. Jensen is a self-taught artist living in Chicago, IL. He has been producing surrealist paintings for the past ten years that deal, primarily, with his vision of life in contemporary society. The work can be seen as autobiographical as it serves as a sort of internal memoir, describing his emotional state through time, rather than the obvious "who, where, and why" of his life. The images come as a form of "waking dream" which are not always completely understood until the completion of the work. |
