Born and raised in Chicago, I have recently migrated to the beautiful state of MI. I am 52 years old and photography has always been a part of my life, but now it is full time.
I have 3 grown children, and just celebrated being married for 30 years. my children are the light of my life, which has been shortened by a terrible disease of the CNS called Multiple System Atrophy. I stay focused on photography and digital art, which keeps my mind off of the illness.
I use a Cannon Power Shot G9 and have been pleased. I shoot sunrises and sunsets, but candid shots of people are my favorite. I also love to do abstracts with manipulation of photos and digital graphics.
If just 1 person finds something they can connect to in my art, my day is complete and I feel joy. To me, that's what it's all about. |
