Anil's interest in photography stems from his background in science. He was drawn to cameras and lenses primarily for their ability to faithfully record scenes. That initial fascination soon developed into an avenue for artistic expression.
Today, living in the San Francisco Bay Area and employed as an engineer, Anil takes his photography seriously. Through his camera he is always attempting to abstract the hidden elements in everyday scenes in order to capture their striking beauty. Anil primarily works with color film and color is often an important aspect of his photographs. His latest work includes landscapes and seascapes from California and the neighboring state of Oregon.
