BFA, first rank, from Government College of Arts and Crafts, Madras, India Received best out going Student Award.
Advance training from Athens school of fine arts, Athens, under Greek government scholarship.
Formal training in fashion accessories, jewelry designing and metal works from Fashion Institute of Technology, New York, under United Nations development program's fellowship.
WORK EXPERIENCES
1992 to 2002 January, worked as an Associate Professor at National Institute of fashion Technology, in Accessory Design Department, New Delhi, India.
Taught several subjects related to Design. The subjects are as follows: Visualization and representation techniques, elements of color, leather goods design, construction and range development, craft based product development, costume jewelry design collection, precious jewelry design collection and production techniques, interpretation of trend and fashion forecast.
1988-1989 Worked as Instructor in College of Arts and Crafts, Madras, India.
Designed republic Day Tableaux for Ministry of Textiles, India, for four years from 1998 to 2002.
Conceptulized, designed and supervised the execution of theme pavilion for indian textiles in the year 1998 at Hem-Textiles Fair, Frankfurt.
Worked with the team to develop trend and forecast design resource book for World Gold Council targeted for the Indian market.
Designed stages and ramps for several fashion shows held in India and travel shows at Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, New York, London & Paris.
Designed trophy/ memento & graduation certificates for the National Institute of Fashion Technology, India.
